Description
Raf Simons has been a longtime fan of American artist Sterling Ruby; however, it was not until 2010 that the pair first collaborated on an extremely limited run of bleached denim items including bags, jackets, and pants. Only 500 of each item were produced, and each piece was handmade by Sterling Ruby himself. Ruby's work has earned him high praise in the art world. More recently, one of his acrylic-and-spray-enamel paintings sold for $1.7 million in 2013. After their limited collaboration in 2010, Simons and Ruby went on to co-design Raf's smash-hit Fall/Winter 2014 collection. This specific duffle is #301 of 500.
