Description
Designer Kobayashi Setsumasa founded his label General Research in 1993 before renaming it Mountain Research in 2006. The Japanese label is best known for its elevated and creative take on tactical gear. This particular piece, aptly named the Frankenstein sweater, features three separate cuts of mohair sweaters patched together with nylon zip ties. The clever use of zip ties to hold the sweater together mirrors the ties and bolts used to hold Frankenstein's face together. Released exclusively in Japan in February of 2018.
